“Emilia Perez” and “Conclave” Dominate 2025 BAFTA Film Awards Nominations
The 2025 BAFTA Film Awards nominations have been announced, and two films are vying for top honors. “Emilia Perez” leads with 11 nominations, closely followed by “Conclave” with 12.
“Emilia Perez,” which garnered four Golden Globe Awards including Best Picture – Musical or Comedy, faces stiff competition from “Conclave,” which received a single Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Screenplay. The Oscar nominations for 2025 are yet to be revealed.
The British Academy Film Awards, often referred to as the “British Oscars,” will be held in London on February 16, 2025.
