A passenger was removed from a Delta Airlines flight at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport on Saturday morning
he passenger was wearing a t-shirt depicting former US President Donald Trump flipping the bird with a reference to the “hawk tuah” video.
The black t-shirt featured Trump in American flag-colored sunglasses and holding up two middle fingers
The t-shirt's message included the phrase “Hawk tuah spit on that thang
The passenger claimed he was being kicked off the flight because of his shirt
Before boarding, the passenger was asked to change his t-shirt or be barred from the flight due to a complaint
He initially complied by turning the t-shirt inside-out, allowing him to board the flight
Just before takeoff, a Delta employee escorted the passenger off the flight after he flipped his shirt back to display the decal
The passenger was reportedly escorted by a female flight attendant, whom he insulted by name
Delta Airlines has the right to remove passengers for safety, comfort, or property protection reasons, as stated in their Contract of Carriage
